A couple of years ago, on the occasion of the ‘Carissimo Pinocchio’ exhibition at the ADI design museum, I was invited to give my personal interpretation of the famous puppet. I decided to strip him down to his absolute essence, leaving only his long nose and hat. The anthropomorphic figure transformed into a spinning top. His nose, grown long from all the lies, finds a new function as a stand to measure wedding rings, questioning the weight of truth in our promises.
