The starting point can be found in the handles for professional pots, made from pipes pressed, bent, welded or riveted. From here we started to define something confortable and balanced, shifting the concept from constructive brutality towords a formal elegance that manifests itself from the hook to the final part, tapered, curved and welded to the various elements that define the functions of each of the six pieces.

Valerio Sommella is an Italian industrial designer whose work bridges tradition and innovation. Born in Cortona, Tuscany, and raised in Milan, he graduated from the Design Department of the Politecnico di Milano. Early in his career, he worked between Milan and Amsterdam, gaining international experience before founding his own studio, Valerio Sommella Design Studio, in 2009.
