This small family of lamps explores the theme of single and double emission wall luminaires, shifting attention to materials, finishes and the precision of mechanical machining. The cylindrical bodies of these devices, minimal in their design and very small in their size, are partly covered with a fine diamond shaped surface finish, aesthetic reference coming from the world of mechanical and precision instruments.

Valerio Sommella is an Italian industrial designer whose work bridges tradition and innovation. Born in Cortona, Tuscany, and raised in Milan, he graduated from the Design Department of the Politecnico di Milano. Early in his career, he worked between Milan and Amsterdam, gaining international experience before founding his own studio, Valerio Sommella Design Studio, in 2009.
