Siesta is an informal and cozy seat conceived around the idea of deep comfort. It is a sofa composed of essential volumes whose seams define its extremes. The backrest, whose design echoes that of the armrests, invites to let go and experience the domestic space with a new sense of lightness and well-being.
The Siesta seating system allows extreme compositional flexibility and enables the configuration of solutions ranging from the simplest linear sofas and armchairs to larger compositions, always keeping the theme of comfort at the center

Valerio Sommella is an Italian industrial designer whose work bridges tradition and innovation. Born in Cortona, Tuscany, and raised in Milan, he graduated from the Design Department of the Politecnico di Milano. Early in his career, he worked between Milan and Amsterdam, gaining international experience before founding his own studio, Valerio Sommella Design Studio, in 2009.
