Portofino is a slim, sleek, and lightweight portable table lamp. It is the result of a process guided by the redefinition of product architecture, the redistribution of components, and their optimization in terms of volume and efficiency. The goal was to create an object that would have a delicate presence on the table, never perceived as an obstacle. Made from cast aluminum and marble.

Valerio Sommella is an Italian industrial designer whose work bridges tradition and innovation. Born in Cortona, Tuscany, and raised in Milan, he graduated from the Design Department of the Politecnico di Milano. Early in his career, he worked between Milan and Amsterdam, gaining international experience before founding his own studio, Valerio Sommella Design Studio, in 2009.
