Nuance is an outdoor collection created with the intention of blending simplicity and elegance through what we call soft-geometric design. All the elements of the collection feature a strong geometric wooden frame, whose rigidity is softened by a distinctive rounded back and Serif-like armrests. At its core lies the concept of open-closed transparency, brought to life through woven panels that allow light and air to pass through while preserving a sense of privacy and structure. These features come together to shape Nuance's distinctive aesthetic, making it both comfortable and instantly recognizable.

Valerio Sommella is an Italian industrial designer whose work bridges tradition and innovation. Born in Cortona, Tuscany, and raised in Milan, he graduated from the Design Department of the Politecnico di Milano. Early in his career, he worked between Milan and Amsterdam, gaining international experience before founding his own studio, Valerio Sommella Design Studio, in 2009.
